Caitlin is a local artist and art teacher at Midtown High School in Hutch. Her artwork is a direct expression of her emotions and serves as both an escape and a path to healing. As her own harshest critic, Caitlin finds that creating is where she most fully discovers herself.
Inspired by nature, especially flowers, her work balances structure and freedom, making space for any emotional setting. She often uses flowers and landscapes to translate feelings into visual form, layering bold colors, heavy textures, and high contrast to capture emotional extremes. The sharp interplay of light and dark draws the viewer’s eye while reflecting universal themes of love, loss, joy and sorrow. Through spontaneous techniques and the versatility of acrylic paint, Caitlin’s art becomes a living timeline of her life: raw, honest, and deeply human.
